For shade, I had been looking at a portable gazebo at Kmart (Astor Place) for $100. When I stopped by today, they had them on sale for $30. It's 10' x 10' with a metal frame and fabric top. It fits in a carrying case that's 7" x 7" x 5'. They had about 10 of them left.

This is great! I'm interested in applying for a spot but the "apply here" link yields "this form cannot be viewed by the public." The info@parkingdaynyc.org email address is also not working. Is it still possible to apply, and if so how?
